The best sober living home. I stayed for a month and loved the fellowship and how welcomed the team made me feel. This was great as a previous step to transition into real life. Thank you all.

I have recently spent time at The Bridge in Barbados through recommendation of my friend Raff. I have recently celebrated a year in sobriety a few weeks after my time at The Bridge. I saw myself slipping away from the program and suggestions but my stay at The Bridge could not have come at a better time. It was the perfect opportunity for me to be surrounded completely by the program of AA/NA and helped me to further my understanding of the step process. When it comes to events/activities within The Bridge I particularly enjoyed the morning meditation and nightly review which created such a great sense of community and support not only between clients, but staff included. In regard to the island itself I fell in love with it very quickly. The morning swim at the beach and the daily AA meetings at The Mustard Seed created a real serenity within me. What I found was a particularly good activity that we all partook in as a team was the Feed the Street Initiative. I found this very important not only because it helps the people of Barbados but because it also instils the action of service to other in the clients which is so instrumental to continued sobriety. It was a great experience and one I will definitely be repeating and spreading the word about to my friends in sobriety who might be interested on a top up of their recovery.
