Wow weeeeeeeee. Laid back from start to finish. Great atmosphere. Sea breeze is welcomed in the heat. Lovely greetings. Music taking you to a place of relaxation. The starter soup was hearty & tasty. The mains of ribs & wings combo with yummy fries. Sweet sweet corn wedges was plentiful & fall of the bone ribs. Needed to lay back after that. Fully satisfied. Definitely in a happy place after that meal.

We discovered Maurice and his restaurant by chance on Google Maps while heading to the black beach. Although it’s normally only open on weekends and we arrived on a Tuesday evening, Maurice still gave us a very warm welcome.
He spontaneously prepared an excellent meal for us. As a starter, we had croquettes and shrimp toasties, followed by shrimp pasta, chicken katsu fried rice, and a fresh mixed salad with a wonderful dressing.
We were truly charmed by his kindness and the fact that, despite the restaurant being closed, he offered to cook just for us – and really only for the three of us.
What impressed us most was that he did all of this exclusively for us. This level of hospitality is something you rarely experience.
Thank you so much for this special experience – we would love to come back!

Set just back from the beach this newly opened restaurant has a wide range of options, expertly prepared by chef Maurice. An airy terrace affords great views of the local landscape, with cooling breezes. The menu boasts many ingredients sourced straight from the garden, vegetarian options offer great variety and the menu changes regularly to cater for fresh, seasonal produce.
The track down from the main road is fairly long, but keep going it is well worth the extra effort!

Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was warm and attentive, and Maurice the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, such an amazing person who truly makes the place special. Everything was just spot on. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience!
