Tamper down your expectations for this place and you will be pleasantly surprised. It is a very basic accommodation with beds that are very old. But think about the comfort of decent AC, having your own little kitchenette, and making your own meals. This island is very expensive, so the lodge is actually quite a good value. When we stayed here we had the usual complaints of the beds being soft, but guess what. We slept really well.
The bathrooms are actually okay and are recently updated. There is even hot water. Which in many Caribbean accommodations in the ABC islands is a rarity. So expect less and you'll get more.
I have to thank Valletta for treating us so well and giving us so much attention when we were there.
The restaurant was never allowed, and it's even closed on Sunday evenings. So in the short time we stayed we experienced nor did we hear noise or loud conversations. The people at the lodge, the other guests are friendly people and we all had a really good time.
I would go back here not just because it's a good value, but because the owners are very reasonable and good people.

I had a great stay at The Lodge. Very convenient location near a nice beach and near the supermarkets. No reception desk in the hotel, but the manager is just a phone call or message away and very responsive if you need anything. Clean basic accommodation at a very affordable price. Great value if you don’t need a fancy resort.

Do NOT stay here. Barely 1 star. Staff is RUDE - especially the embedded restaurant team. Room is marginally habitable. Roach infested. A slight step up from sleeping on the airport floor. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!! Also books under 2 Stay Playa. Location poorly marked. We absolutely stayed here! Group leader booked under 2 Stay Playa but we discovered it was actually The Lodge (deceptive advertising!!!). Disregard comment from Dana below. Apparently just more confusion at this place. AVOID!! Don’t let them destroy your otherwise perfect holiday in Bonaire!

Nice rooms. Nothing flashy, but comfortable and a good service at a fair price. Would visit again 👍

I had a confirmed reservation but when I showed up, I was told they were overbooked and I did not have a room.
