We can’t thank Ian & Sinead enough for letting us share there little bit of paradise.  We arrived in the dark and walking into the property was magical. The subtle lighting in the garden around the terrace and the pool area was so beautiful and calming after a long flight. The welcome pack put us on perfectly until we could re-stock the next day and the supply of Bank’s beers kept the boys happy on our first evening. Both the interior and the exterior areas are beautifully maintained with tasteful decor and the small private pool was perfect for cooling dips. You would be hard pushed to find a better location. Just a minutes walk to Mullins Beach where we swam before breakfast every morning. The reggae bus (bus stop outside the complex) was reliable and value for money, getting us to Speightstown in 5 minutes and Holetown in 15 minutes. Although the taxi drivers are great too. Michelle, the cleaner popped in every few days and looked after the place beautifully. And finally, the sunsets! The top deck of Tradewinds is a perfect spot for gathering together to watch the amazing setting sun over the crystal clear Caribbean Sea with a chilled glass of rose in hand. Our holiday at Tradewinds was a special and memorable time and we will most certainly be back!

We have stayed at Tradewinds for 2 months each of the past 3 winters. It’s a beautiful villa right across the road from the beach. The property is well maintained and kept impeccably clean. The owners are a delight to work with, as is the housekeeper. The property manager was very responsive when anything needed attention. The villa itself is tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The private pool is a very nice feature that was especially appreciated when we had family with young children visiting. The restaurants on the beach directly across the road are very good and really convenient. I highly recommend this property.

Stayed here in May — amazing trip! Tradewinds is a spacious, modern villa that still retains a cosy atmosphere and is perfect for any group whether that be families or couples. Our favourite part of the house is the proximity to the beach - Mullins Beach is only a 2 min walk away. The beach is great for snorkelling and swimming and there is also a range of water based activities to take advantage of. At the same beach there is also Sea Shed - a fantastic restaurant with a great menu and atmosphere - would recommend! The house itself is kept very clean and has a fully fitted kitchen with all appliances you would need, as well as 3 bathrooms. It is also clear that thought has gone into the interior design, we were fans of the decor and furniture - a warm and cosy Mediterranean feel is what I could describe it as. As for the pool area, wow! The terrace area is fitted with a range of outdoor furniture and makes for a great area to relax. The pool itself appears to have been modernised recently and is fitted with steps and a built in seat which we found a nice little touch. The grounds staff cleaned the pool regularly also. There is also a balcony / roof terrace that offers unobstructed views of the ocean and beach which is a lovely place to sit and relax in the mornings and evenings - you can watch the sunset from the house. Overall, a fantastic house that made our stay comfortable, relaxing and fun. Would stay again !

We had an amazing stay at Tradewinds. It’s a fantastic villa that’s well equipped and well managed, in a great location across the road from Mullins beach and a trio of great though very different bar-restaurants. Everything was easy from start to finish, from prompt confirmation and welcome details to easy check-in and out. There’s a spa and gym just round the corner and lots to do nearby, or just a bus/taxi ride away. Highly recommend this villa!

We stayed at Tradewinds for 2 weeks in August. The villa was fabulous and location was excellent. In less than 2 minutes you could be on the beautiful Mullins beach or dining at the wonderful Seashed. The villa offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Michelle who comes in to clean was so friendly and helpful. This is a great location because not only do you have amenities to walk to you are also only a short bus ride from Holetown and Speightstown which both offer fantastic restaurants. Would definitely recommend a visit to Pier one, a cruise with Calabaza to see the turtles and QP bistro. This was our first time to Barbados and we definitely want to return.
