I LOVE this chocolaterie! They have the best ice cream (chocolate coconut) seved by the friendliest salesperson! I also purchased two dark chocolate (70%) with sea salt bars (100 g). It's difficult to find this type of bar throughout the world!

Fantastic chocolaterie with tours, icecream,
And all the chocolate. We read through the history of chocolate making, bought some chocolate bars, and savored the mocha chocolate cream.
Everything is single origin and made in house. It’s the perfect place to get an authentic souvenir from Barbados.

supernice shop - good chocolate smell beats it all - comes with very friendly service, good stop for a coffee in beautiful atmosphere (nice radio music), wifi available AND AC😁.
Walkable from the cruise port.
Agapey Chocolate factory offers a really nice place apart from buzzling traffic outside, you can watch the process of chocolate making, they also offer chocolate tours .
Try the HOT chocolate, it's sooo delicious at 35! degrees outside, your stomach will appreciate it!

Stopped in and got ice cream and a chocolate bar. Both were great and got some bars to take home. Didn’t do the tour, however, it’s a small building and you can easily see everything through windows on the interior. This is worth a quick visit. You could do as few as 10 minutes up to an hour.

This tour was worth every penny! Purchased these tour tickets after seeing Agapey store on Google maps and checking their website. We were in Barbados the week before our scheduled tour and stopped in for an iced coffee and to check the place out. It was small and we could see the entire factory through the windows. It was small so we left concerned about the tour. We could not have been more wrong! When we arrived the next week we had a table set up for a small group of 12. The owner is an engineer by trade and really educated us on both chocolates and the process of converting cocoa beans to different types of chocolates. Step-by-step explanation of every step while sampling product at each step to experience how it changes at each stage. Also had samples from roasted cocoa beans to finished products. Highly recommend this tour of you are in Barbados! And the chocolate is FANTASTIC too! We bought a bunch to take home with us.
