Ok it used to be 1 star service but they are trying to improve it. Went in early 2025. Marginally better but the issue is still payments at the BRA cashiers. Slower than molasses uphill and long lines.

One star is even too many. I called for 5 days to make an appointment for the regulation test and got nowhere. There's a dedicated phone line to that segment that must be in a cave. I gave up calling and went to the Pine to make it in person. Got my appointment for the following week. Went again to take the test, was told system was down but they gave test anyway. I passed but no pass certificate could be issued. Now I wait for a call to get certificate needed to apply for driver's permit. So, another trip there to collect certificate. Hope I get permit before Christmas.

Arrived at 9:25 to renew license and get a new drivers plastic card and got through at 10:27. It was at #563 when I arrived and I had #580 then proceeded to card area. Overall you know you have to wait so patience is needed. The cashiers were working fast today

I returned home in 2024 and had a very good experience. With the new management there, I really have seen a transformation and the service is so much better. The major problem is the Revenue Authority that collects the Licensing Authority's money. Lines are too long.

Applied online 10th December received email confirmation informing me that I will be contacted by an officer, arrived 15th December still not received contact or the required code to make payment. Contacted the Authorities on Monday 16th December after being told that they were experiencing issues online. Everything passed awaiting review, still waiting 18th December. I called the Authority again and explained to a representative of the Authorities, who asked me to forward my application to the person dealing with the permit section. This was emailed directly, four hours later still not received a email reply. 19th December, still awaiting confirmation update on my application. Called the Authority again this morning, only to be able to told that there was a shortage of officers dealing with applications. I will asked was it possible to purchase a permit face to face, only to be told that as I have applied online, this was not possible. Employees operate as though they don't want to work, and this has a negative effect on the economy.
