We saw Hans the Magician perform on the top floor of Castaway restaurant and it turned out to be one of the most fun nights of our entire Barbados trip.
The setting was perfect! An intimate, relaxed atmosphere upstairs which made his close-up magic even more unbelievable. He wasn’t on a big stage… he was right there with us, and somehow still completely fooled everyone.
His tricks were sharp, clever, and truly mind-blowing, but what really makes him special is his personality. He’s funny, warm, and effortlessly engaging. Within minutes the whole room was laughing and participating.
It was mostly adults the night we went, but kids 12+ would absolutely love this show too.
If you’re dining at Castaway and Hans is performing, don’t miss it. Stay for the show! It’s pure entertainment and easily one of the highlights of our trip.

A great night out for the whole family. Very interactive with lots of audience participation. Hans puts on a show with lots of heart and humour while not taking himself too seriously. It’s a magical night out while in Barbados!

Just saw Hans’ show and was a blast! Very funny and such clever and unique ways of presenting magic. I have seen a previous show of his and was totally different, so it was cool seeing such a variety and that he is always changing up the format and illusions. Highly recommend for a fun evening of laughs and entertainment!

Hans was amazing! I was a magicians assistant in my youth and I couldn’t figure out how he did his illusions. Fun, entertaining and mystical!
We had dinner there before the show - fantastic food, presentation and the staff were professional & friendly. A wonderful evening had by all our friends.
