Although the bus service in Barbados can be frusterating at times, the Oistins bus depot is very convenient. My family connects here when possible if we need to take multiple busses. Also, the supervisor here, sisi, is great and went out of her way to help us find our way (on more than one occasion!)

Easy to access, central place to pick up a bus in Oistins. Short walk from there to the fish fry :).

In 2023 with Barbados advancing it's tourism profile, why don't we move this "piece of marly yard" over the next side of the road where the vendors currently are (to the east of Granny's where there is already "barber green") paint some parking lanes, build a shed so commuters can shelter from the elements, build proper bathroom facilities, increase the lighting and then turn the piece of "marly yard" into a well laid out "vendors market" with some kinda "boardwalk" that leads to the polyclinic, police station, Post office, Miami beach etc. This would bring total visual transformation with much cultural appeal while maintaining it's "tourism profile". In my opinion, it's prime real estate not being properly utilised.✌🏾💯

Isn't officially developed... it's currently an open checkpoint for commuters traveling from the West Coast and City(St. Peter, St. James and St. Michael)to the South(Christ Church), then from the South to the East countryside (St. Phillip, St. Joseph and St. John). There's also a bus service going into St George and a loop service between St Phillip and Christ Church called the Southern Circle.
