BWA is a "natural monopoly".
They don't know what they are doing!
We have been without water for 48 hours now. Their website claims "they are investigating the reason for the outage.
If the "Fair Trading Commission" had any backbone, this would have been solved long ago.

I recently went to the Barbados Water Authority regarding an application for a new connection. The team in the customer service centre both on the phone and in person were very accommodating with providing the information I would need for the application as well as assisting me with same. I hope that this continues in the months and years to come.

On Friday 25th April 2025, I went to the office of the BWA to have processed the application of getting my Uncle's water disconnected after his recent passing. There, I met an extremely polite and helpful young lady called Bonnie Chase who completed the application for me.
Coming from a 27 years of service in a customers service background, I am very rigid in the professional kind of help given to me by others and I do voice my pleasures or displeasures, with the kind I receive each time I interact with people each day.
Ms Chases customer skills were professional and exemplary as she explained throughout the process, what was going to happen. Ms Chase, treated me with respect and as a still valued customer from start to finish of the process.
To the BWA, Ms Chase is indeed an asset to your company and a model customer service representative. It's amazing how much others could learn from her. Thanking you once again!

Due to Covid-19 protocols there was a waiting period on the outside but there was plenty of seating under a huge tent. The interaction with the customer service provider was fantastic!....This lady went above and beyond what was expected of her and she made a potentially bad situation a breeze, answering all my queries and then some! I left there pleased as punch.

This is the state of the water from the tap in Phase 3 Bakers St Peter. This problem has been going on since April 2015, with almost no relieve, even though or in spite of significant damage to toilets, sinks, taps, due to rust-like raw-smelling water. Countless emails and calls were made yet no one seems to be able offer help or showed any kind care, consideration or empathy.
