This beach area is one that shouldn't be missed on any trip to Barbados. The beach is very popular but spacious enough that you don't feel cramped on the beach or in the water. There are tons of water activities available to try and several food and drink trucks in the parking lot that are worth a try especially the lady front and centre making drinks. One of the most delicious Long Island Ice Teas I've ever had and was rather large and shockingly cheap. Though about stopping by another day just to get another one from her. There's a full public (free) bathroom on sight as well which I don't recall at many other beaches.

Amazing beach, there is also a wide parking just behind. It is possible to rent loungers and umbrella at very low price. Water is beautiful and there is the chance to do several activities directly from the beach.

We planned to visit this beach, but once we arrived, we were very disappointed. The beach near our hotel is much better — more spacious, more comfortable, and overall much more pleasant. This beach felt overcrowded, with too many people, and there is a pier nearby, which made the atmosphere feel busy and not cozy at all. Despite the interesting underwater attractions, we don’t think it’s worth visiting. Parking was completely full, and there were many groups of locals trying to aggressively sell different things. One man approached us right from the parking lot and immediately felt suspicious. On the beach, we clearly explained that we were fine, just wanted to look around, and didn’t need anything. He became very angry, started behaving aggressively and used rude language. We were shocked and didn’t want to argue with someone acting so unpredictably, so we decided to leave. Honestly, we don’t understand why this beach is so popular. The beach near our hotel is far more enjoyable, feels safer, and people respect your boundaries — if you’re not interested, they simply leave you alone.

Wonderful clean beach with clean water no sea weed. Two tanning beds and umbrella only $20 USD

Great beach, white sand and turquoise water. Meet cool locals. Suggest you rent a chair and umbrella on the hot days. Great local eats and the island favorite rum punch available on the beach
