The restaurant is actually located to the left of the InterContinental Hotel, not at the location shown on Google Maps. The service was quite slow, so be prepared to wait. However, the portions were generous and the food was satisfying. The prices were reasonable and offered good value for the amount of food served. Overall, an okay experience, but the location on Google Maps should be corrected.

The place to go for island vibes after soaking up the rays on Douglas Bay Beach Park. Bring your island time - everything is made fresh, step by step - and have an extra drink while waiting.
Friendly staff, credit card payments, and a covered open air seating along with some great music helps you to slow down and relax. The chill vibe and great food make for a great experience.

If you are staying at the Intercontinental, park your car, drop your luggage and immediately walk down the street. The food is fantastic we ordered an additional entire to try more. Service is exceptional, and very fast compared to the rest of the island. The prices are super reasonable and the food is super fresh. We had the wings, tuna, and shrimp!

By Portsmouth standards, perfectly fine place, but don't expect big city style fine dining (here or anywhere in the area). Menu is fish, chicken and shrimp prepared however the chef feels like today. Nice fresh salad (they have a garden). Whatever sides the chef feels like. Service was friendly, atmosphere is relaxed beach bar. Open air, but we got no bug bites. Nice view of Douglas Bay. It's on the main road, but there was little traffic on a week night in March, and the music was not deafening. Off street parking in the adjacent lot. A couple of steps in from the parking area, but none in front, so pretty accessible. Atmosphere fine for kids, but if they are picky eaters, it might be challenging. Hopefully they like fried plantains. Price was in line with local standards. Sunset view attached.

A really popular open-air style restaurant across from the beach. It seems to be pretty good for dinner on normal nights, but be warned about coming here during a public holiday.
When we first stopped by, there was a local party happening and the place was PACKED. It felt very sketchy and a lot of group felt uncomfortable. It was clearly a party because the restaurant section was completely closed for the night and when we asked for food, they took out some frozen burgers from the back - no one was there to eat; everyone was just drinking. And nothing's wrong with that! Everyone seemed to be having a good time and they had a live band playing local music you could hear for miles. But that's not everyone's scene so just be wary.
We went back a few nights later once the festivities were over, just to grab a couple drinks and feel it out, and the vibe was COMPLETELY different. It was back to normal, just a chill beachside restaurant and the waitstaff were all super friendly! Prices also quite reasonable!
INSIDER HINT: Definitely ask for a Ginger Shot. Trust me! :)
