My daughter and I were highly satisfied with our day at Big Bastard's Beach! We paid a little extra for the front row chairs and it was totally worth it. Our server, Cece, was very attentive and friendly. The drinks were good and the garlic cheese fries were delicious! Check in was smooth and easy with an advance reservation. Would definitely recommend!

Marcel and Stephen ( the original Bastard 😀) helped along with the rest of staff gave us my wife's favourite day of the cruise. Booked VIP package great loungers and view beautiful sand one in sea. All great drinks included in deal. Paid extra for lunch but worth every penny. If we ever get to back to St Marten we will be here no questions

Had a great time as always. Reservations are super easy and the staff is wonderful, always there ready to assist. Set up is not as crowded as some others in the area. Food is good, wifi is great and there is always a smiling face to greet you. Jeremy was our server and he made sure we were not needing anything. Our 5th time here and love it!! Easy trip from the cruise port, owner went around and greeted many that were there, (nice touch). They keep us coming back!!!

We bought a package online before going. Our chairs & umbrella was ready waiting for us. Anthony was a great server; fast, friendly, and very funny. The food was good. It was nice to have beach floats. The drinks kept coming. The owner even came out to check on us. An excellent day at the beach due to Big Bastard's Beach Bar

We stopped here during our cruise port day in Saint Martin, and it was the perfect beach escape! The location is unbeatable—right on the lively boardwalk with tons of shopping spots nearby for souvenirs, jewelry, and local finds. It's super convenient, just a quick 10-minute, $7 water taxi ride from the cruise port, so no hassle getting there. The vibe is relaxed and fun, with the bar literally steps from the sand. We were able to rent beach chairs and an umbrella right on the beach in front of the bar, which made it easy to set up a comfortable spot for the day. The sea was incredibly calm and inviting—crystal-clear water perfect for swimming or just wading in to cool off. We spent hours lounging with drinks in hand, watching the gentle waves. The food was a highlight! Everything we tried was delicious, but the pulled pork BBQ sandwich was outstanding—tender, smoky meat piled high with just the right sauce and slaw. Portions are generous, and it hit the spot after a morning of exploring. Service was friendly and efficient, even with the crowd. If you're on a cruise or just visiting Philipsburg, don't miss Big Bastards—it's a must for great food, prime beach access, easy chair/umbrella rentals, and that laid-back island feel. We'll definitely be back next time we're in port! Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
