I signed both my kids (8 & 12) up for a lesson with Bodie while visiting Barbados last month. I highly recommend him, he’s great! Very patient, thorough instruction and made the lesson so much fun. It was my kids first time and both kids were able to stand and surf on the first lesson. My only regret….why didn’t I sign myself up! Looking forward to a lesson with Bodie someday. Please don’t think twice about it, this was the real highlight of our trip to Barbados!

I had three classes with Bodie last month, and I will definitely contact him again when I return to Barbados. I learned so much and feel much more confident, all thanks to his spirit and encouragement. He is patient, motivating, and makes learning fun. Highly recommend!

Learning to surf with Bodie was one of the highlights of our trip to Barbados! I went in as a total beginner with zero surfing experience, and I was honestly a little nervous, but Bodie made me feel comfortable and confident. Everything was explained clearly, from the basics to ocean safety. The area Bodie picked for our lesson was beautiful, with a variety of waves to surf and sea turtles that pop up to the surface to say hello!
My boyfriend is a snowboarder, so he picked things up quickly, and Bodie did an amazing job tailoring the lesson to both of us at the same time. The semi-private format was perfect; tons of personal feedback, encouragement, and nonstop fun without ever feeling rushed or ignored. The lesson ended with mangos from Bodie's garden and him dropping us off at a lovely spot for lunch nearby.
We left smiling and already talking about when we could surf again. If you’re even thinking about trying surfing in Barbados, especially as a beginner, check Bodie out! We have already recommended his lessons to friends back home planning to travel to the area. You will not regret it! 🌊🏄♀️🤍

Amazing experience for my 13 year old twin daughters, surfing among turtles in crystal clear waters.
Bodie isn't just your run of the mill surf school (just get'em a wave approach) he was coaching my girls to be better surfers, and after two amazing sessions it really showed.

My son and I had a great beginner group lesson with Bodie. Bodie is a natural teacher. On land he helped us to develop fundamental techniques that were critical in the water. In the water we had quick success and were visited by many curious sea turtles. Epic time. I’d recommend to anyone interested in surfing. Water shoes are helpful for the rocky beach and sea floor. 🤙
