Very inexpensive, self toured, excursion. We rented the carts for hours and went around the whole island. We saw donkeys, flamingos, goats, and iguana everywhere!! The salt flats were very cool. The memorial shrine on the beach were very interesting, as were the old slave huts. The local food was delicious 😋

We reserved our carts well before our vacation and this is recommended. Many people tried to book when they got to the port and it was sold out. A representative met us in the port who directed us to where to pick up our cart. It’s a very short walk from the port. Once we got to the vendor, we were given instructions and sent on our way. Once we got on our way and got out of downtown, it was smooth sailing. You are riding on the roads with other vehicles so be mindful of them. They will go around you. The blinker is not automatic so you do have to remember to shut it off after every turn. Otherwise it can cause some upset drivers. We were only able to do the south loop because the north loop was closed off for a festival. In my opinion, the south loop was the better views! We drove ourselves around, stopped for lunch, went swimming, and just took our time exploring. We had to have the cart back by 5pm so there was plenty of time. This was absolute worth every cent!

Great company. Make sure if you book thru them to reserve several months in advance. They do sell out. Prices are affordable for the different level of cart. We chose the mid range. Check in was easy(make sure to bring your drivers license). You’ll fill out some paperwork then on your way. There are 2 different routes to pick from. We chose the south route. Carts offer a smooth ride & are quite roomy. There is storage for backpacks as well. Make sure to check out their website, it offers a lot of helpful information. And may answer all the questions you have. Definitely worth doing again.

Recently took a cruise to the ABC islands. When researching excursions and things to do at each island, I quickly found that one of the highest recommendations was to rent a golf cart in Bonaire and explore the island on our own. We decided to rent a deluxe golf cart with the plan of driving the southern loop and then up to 1,000 steps to snorkel.
We were fortunate that our cruise was the only ship in port that date, we got off the ship as soon as we were allowed and were one of the first visitors to pick up our cart that day. We walked to the Bonaire Cruisers tent at the end of the pier and the lady walked us down the street and provided us with clear directions to find the rental office, which was about a 5 minute walk.
I've driven golf carts in Put-in-Bay, OH before, but this was a little intimidating at first as you are immediately driving with mostly cars and trucks within the town. Once we got to the more isolated area there was much less traffic.
The southern loop was spectacular, amazing views along the way and we loved that we could pull over almost anywhere to get out and look. We came across many wild donkeys, flamingos in the distance, some wild goats, and even a few parrots.
After completing the Southern loop, we drove north to 1,000 steps, which was about a 25 minute drive. On the way we went done a pretty big hill and I was concerned we would struggle coming back up it, but didn't have any trouble and the cart had enough power.
1,000 steps was one of the most amazing things we've ever done. The water was so clear and the perfect temperature. Tons of fish, even saw a sea turtle, eel, and an octopus.
Bonaire is a truly amazing place and using a golf cart instead of a car made the experience that much more enjoyable.

Bonaire Cruisers made our visit absolutely wonderful! Renting a golf cart from them was simple, quick, and hassle-free. The cart was in excellent condition, easy to drive, and gave us the freedom to explore the island at our own pace. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly from pickup to drop-off. Having the golf cart really made our trip so much more enjoyable and convenient. I highly recommend Bonaire Cruisers to anyone visiting the island—you won’t be disappointed!
