A very good hardware store. Have pretty much anything as far as tools and housewares that you would need in your house. They have a fairly good plumbing and electrical section. They also sell lumber and things like that. Prices are a little bit high but...

Don't try and order timber cut to size online, you can go to all the trouble of mailing your requirements , getting a quote etc., but then when I phoned in to pay was told by a VERY rude woman on the phone that I would have to come in and pay then wait for the timber to be cut, she had no idea how long I would wait and she didn't do the quote so couldn't explain why their email didn't tell me that. Extremely rude and abrupt and put the phone down on me. Not what I would expect from Carter's, why not cut my timber once I have paid and assist me, the customer, to not waste time. Best cut timber yourself or buy elsewhere, rudeness is never necessary.
