Coco Loco Vieques Hotel & Guesthouse

We stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed the experience. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment , really well appointed with everything we needed. They had some really nice touches in the decor , great A/C and WiFi , and use of beach chairs , flippers , cold boxes etc. The small pool was delightful, especially at the end of the day to cool down. It’s located in Emparenza , and the local beach and bars are just a few minutes walk away. Sun Bay - stunning beach is an easy 15-20 minutes walk. It is very near a well stocked mini market for essentials or if you want to cook in. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to experience Vieques for the first time. We even had a visit from the wild horses that live on the island. If I ever have the chance to come back I would in a heartbeat and stay at Coco Loco.

Planned a girls trip to Vieques this past November and stayed here at Coco Loco. We booked through AirBnB, but in the future, we will book directly with Coco Loco because it was such an amazing stay! The location was walking distance to the water and restaurants. The property was safe and I wish we would have had time to use the pool. We appreciated the detailed recommendations that were sent to us by the staff and the beach accessories they let us borrow. We will be back here and recommend this accommodation to others!

Such a cute place! Well maintained, spacious, pool in the back, golf cart parking, private balcony. We only stayed 1 night but it was perfect. Location is great.

A little piece of home in Vieques P.R! Our stay at Coco Loco was absolutely wonderful. The room we stayed in was small but very comfortable it had everything we needed to feel at ease and rest well. One detail worth mentioning is that the cooking area is located next to the bathroom, a bit unusual but honestly, it didn’t take away from the great experience we had. From the moment we arrived, Jeriel made us feel right at home. He was always available, kind, and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality truly made a difference! The property is surrounded by fruit trees you can enjoy. The mangoes were super juicy and delicious, a true highlight of our stay. The horses that come by are just beautiful, so gentle and friendly. It was such a magical part of the experience. It’s also one of the few places in Vieques that has a pool, which made our stay even more enjoyable and refreshing. The view from the third floor is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. And the location couldn’t be better, very central and just minutes from the malecón, where you can soak up the local vibe. If you’re visiting Vieques, I highly recommend checking out Sun Bay, Caracas, and Pata Negra beaches, they were our favorites, each with its own special charm. We loved our stay at Coco Loco! The owner was very welcoming and the place was adorable. We saw wild horses walking down the street right in front of the house and it was in a great location to get to all the other places we wanted to explore while we were there for our honeymoon! Thank you Coco Loco! We hope to be back soon :)
