Our Scouts Canada Venturer Company had a AMAZING experience diving in and around Carlisle bay. Big thanks to Peter and his amazing team who made us feel like instant family. They were patient, encouraging, and our Scouts gained the skills and confidence to cherish diving into their adult years. We can’t say enough about this dive shop, they are the best. Ask for King Neptune and him and his crew will hook you up! 🔱🤿

Great pair of dives yesterday in Barbados with Peter and his team. From the port pick up (on time and friendly Ryan), to getting kitted up to the dives with captain Perry and dive master Kenroy, they were true professionals, making no our dive fun and easy. Especially enjoyable was the shipwreck dive. A divemaster from another cruise ship called it “the best shipwreck site to dive in the Caribbean”, and I agree. And so close to the dive shop

Our Canadian Venturer Scouts Company had so much fun diving here! Peter and his lively team made sure to make diving the best experience we had on our trip to Barbados. I’ll be sure to come back if I ever find myself here again!

Great experience overall. With over 40 dives but a 12 year hiatus, I was anxious to get back under water. After a brief but thorough refresher dive, I was able to do three tanks over three days. The crew is great: relaxed above water and professional under water, just as I like it. We ended up with a diverse crew of divers on the two tank, but the DWSS team was able to adjust as we had 2-3 dive masters/instructors with us to take care of everyone so we all got the experience we wanted (ie. they split the group when part of the group was running lower on air, so those with more air, including me, could complete the dive as planned). Good knowledge of local sites. They even shared some of the vids and pics they took. Brandon, Summer, Cam, Ollie and the captain, and of course owner Peter, thanks! I look forward to diving with you again. Highly recommended!

This was our 7th diving holiday with West Side Scuba &, as always, we had a great time. This is a well-run, safe diving centre. The staff are friendly & helpful & they do their best to ensure that everyone enjoys the whole experience, not just the diving. Despite the weather limiting where we could dive most days we saw lots of amazing sealife, from tiny damsel fish to huge tarpons & great barracuda, rays, turtles, squid, lobsters & nudibranchs. There is so much to see here & a lot of it is on relatively shallow reefs that are accessible to all qualified divers. There are also lots of wrecks & some of them are within the 18m limit for open water divers. Most of the Carlisle Bay wrecks are within the 12m limit for people doing the Discover Scuba Dive course -this is an incredible place to do your first dive. They cater for levels of recreational diver, from those doing a Discover Scuba Diving course (just to see what the fuss is about) to experienced divers looking for something a bit more adventurous. They can provide all the necessary kit & their rental kit is very good. In the morning they do 2 dives with the surface interval on the boat. They provide chilled bottles of water & granola bars. In the afternoon they offer a shallow, easy dive suitable for DSDs & for less experienced divers. Whatever your level of experience I would definitely recommend West Side Scuba.
