This was our 7th diving holiday with West Side Scuba &, as always, we had a great time. This is a well-run, safe diving centre. The staff are friendly & helpful & they do their best to ensure that everyone enjoys the whole experience, not just the diving.
Despite the weather limiting where we could dive most days we saw lots of amazing sealife, from tiny damsel fish to huge tarpons & great barracuda, rays, turtles, squid, lobsters & nudibranchs. There is so much to see here & a lot of it is on relatively shallow reefs that are accessible to all qualified divers. There are also lots of wrecks & some of them are within the 18m limit for open water divers. Most of the Carlisle Bay wrecks are within the 12m limit for people doing the Discover Scuba Dive course -this is an incredible place to do your first dive.
They cater for levels of recreational diver, from those doing a Discover Scuba Diving course (just to see what the fuss is about) to experienced divers looking for something a bit more adventurous. They can provide all the necessary kit & their rental kit is very good.
In the morning they do 2 dives with the surface interval on the boat. They provide chilled bottles of water & granola bars. In the afternoon they offer a shallow, easy dive suitable for DSDs & for less experienced divers.
Whatever your level of experience I would definitely recommend West Side Scuba.

Massive thanks to the team at West Side Scuba! Our dive was guided by the wonderful Brandon, who led a detailed dive brief and then showed us all the cool stuff under the water, checking on us all regularly. We were able to see 7 wrecks on just one shallow dive and the life underwater was phenomenal. On top of the wrecks, highlights included two frog fish, a seahorse and an amazing large stingray at the end. The visibility was so good too, and it is definitely one of the best dives we have done. I definitely hope to dive with WSS again one day!

Very friendly & professional family run dive shop. I completed 8 dives over the week - whilst I had my own kit, I could see that dive gear supplied to other divers was good quality. On all, bar one, of the dives I was accompanied by experienced divers in a small group (never exceeding 6) and we enjoyed some great sites …. Will use again and highly recommend

I recently had the pleasure of diving with West Side Scuba for eight dives over four days, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, the team was professional, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease. Special shout-out to instructors Thea and Brandon, who were not only super friendly but also incredibly skilled and knowledgeable.
The dives exceeded my expectations! I had the chance to explore stunning coral-covered wrecks and saw an amazing variety of marine life, including turtles, rays, and many colorful fish. Every dive felt like an adventure, and the underwater world was more beautiful than I could have imagined.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable diving experience, West Side Scuba is the place to go! Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience diving. Gear and boat are in great condition. Crew, Dive Master and Owner were great to work with and very responsive. Brandon went above and beyond making sure I had all the gear I needed, explained the dives, pointed out sea life and always put safety first. I dove multiple days doing some great shipwreck dives. Looking forward to coming back and diving again with Dive West Side Scuba. Thankful for my experience with them. They are professional, kind and hardworking 🤙🏼
