We were with trainer O’neil and dolphins Nemo and Luna. It was amazing! We had the most wonderful time learning about the dolphins and interacting with them. We were in a group of 15 and the trainer took the time with each one of us.
The dolphins looked well taken care of and O’neil made sure to care for the dolphin’s personal space by reminding us not to touch places on the dolphins that were going to make them uncomfortable (as an easily overstimulate mom of a 1yr old I get that) and they were well fed, energetic, and happy dolphins. He also told us about their history— their ages, personalities, if they had babies, birth places, etc…)
It was a wonderful experience and I would absolutely do it again!

Attack 2026!
Unfortunately me and my daughter’s experience was not pleasant! Within 10 minutes of our activity we got attacked. We were told to swim out a little and we wiggled our fingers to rub the dolphins belly, and another one had came, this is where the instructor informed us to swim back. While swimming back we got struck so hard . I got hit twice and my daughter got hit once . This was very scary experience. I feel like they were more concerned about getting photos and to worry about our safety . After this we did not feel safe to continue . It’s unfortunate the attack happened right after we took the photo out in the water

This was a good activity overall, though it came with several frustrations. We originally booked a different excursion through Margaritaville, which was canceled, and we were reassigned to this one instead.
The location itself is beautiful, and they have a nice gift shop with souvenirs. However, once inside the facility, guests are not allowed to bring cellphones or personal cameras into the activity area, which forces you to purchase their photo and video package. The price ranges from approximately $70–$95 per person, which feels excessive. The photographer also refused to take individual photos, stating he was following a strict schedule and was not allowed to do so even though we paid for the service.
On a positive note, the trainer Daniel did an excellent job with the group, and the dolphins Alma and Copernico were amazing. The interaction itself was enjoyable and well managed.
Unfortunately, the issues continued once we returned to the building to retrieve the photos. At first, they were unable to locate our photos, and staff had to struggle to find them, which added unnecessary stress after the activity. We did have a copy of our receipt, but we were told they needed the original pink receipt, which they had kept themselves. This made the process more frustrating, especially since we had already paid in full.
Additionally, the overall system for receiving the photos is inconvenient. Guests are required to download an app and wait sometimes until the next day for the photos and videos to appear, and then only have up to 30 days to download them. Considering the high price paid, this process is not ideal. When I expressed this concern to one of the employees, the response was unprofessional and dismissive. As photographers ourselves with a drone and ground photography business, we are familiar with imaging workflows, so this interaction was disappointing.
That said, the rest of the staff were very kind, friendly, and welcoming. The turtle area was also great beautiful surroundings, a nice gift shop, and amazing employees.
Overall, the experience would benefit from improvements in the photography process and customer service. If one person in a group purchases the photo and video package, that should be sufficient there is no real reason for every individual to be required to buy it.

I had a great experience at Dolphin Discovery Grand Cayman. The facility is clean, well organized, and beautifully located right by the water. There was no wait when we arrived on a weekday, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from the start.
Seeing the dolphins up close was the highlight. You can tell they are well cared for, and it’s nice that they introduce you to each dolphin and share a bit about their personalities. The surroundings are calm, scenic, and perfect for photos, even just walking around the property.
Overall, it’s a memorable experience and a great stop while visiting Grand Cayman. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for something unique and family-friendly to do on the island.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was amazing! It’s $100+ plus but it’s once in a life and worth it! Truly loved the experience. Always wanted to do swim with the dolphins and they provided a great experience!
