I used Hastings c. 3 years ago (2022) to purchase a single family dwelling in Barbados. The sale failed due to the behavior of the seller's attorney (Ms. Kim Marshall); however, I was dismayed that Hastings handed over my 10% deposit without having a properly executed sale agreement. Whilst they were helpful in planning to litigate for the return of the deposit, that was ultimately returned. On reflection they entire incident could have been avoided if Hastings had taken due care.
