The staff was very nice and always at the desk! The restaurant attached was very nice. I also liked the rooftop for views of the city. I had some parking issues that the hotel help resolve! It was a beautiful place to stay for a work trip. My room had a private porch too!

First the good. Hector was amazing! He went so out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Showed us the best places to go. He’s such a big part of making your hotel great. He deserves five stars. Read below why I wasn’t giving overall experience a five. The room- the room was dirty. Wasn’t very clean. Missing lots of stuff for a luxury hotel.

I had a phenomenal stay at Hotel Puerto Valdes! The staff was kind and the amenities were appreciated (free laundry and on-site gym with a weight rack!). The rooms were *very* spacious and they all have a full kitchen. walking distance to Old San Juan. I was initially worried about safety because I was traveling solo as a woman but I had literally no concerns, I felt safe the entire time, even when walking back at night. Highly recommend.

Hotel Puerto Valdes is a great find. I couldn't believe how nice the rooms were and so reasonably priced. The staff couldn't be any nicer. The location was perfect for my needs as I was departing for a cruise. We also ate at the steak house restaurant in the building. It was excellent. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We just checked out from here. First of all, the staff was absolutely amazing. Im not good with names and cant remember them, but everyone was wonderful. The absolute best was the guy that worked mornings. We were heading to Escambron Beach, and he not only gave us directions but actually walked us partway there. Staff was a 20/10. He was 100/10. Second was the location. Easily walkable to most locations in Old San Juan. We did Uber a bit due to an injury my wife had, but even with it, we still walked a lot. The rooms were good. We had a cheaper room and it was massive. Also, we were there over Mothers Day and my wife got a rose for being a mom which was nice. If I had only one complaint; even when we put the sign on the door to make the room, they didnt seem to stop by to do it, we ended up asking at the desk but it was then immediately taken care of. I would 100% recommend anyone stay here. And for the absolutely amazing gentleman that worked mornings and walked us partway to the beach, Im sorry I dont remember your name but thank you for being awesome.
