Started our experience here on the beach. But the smell of the grill and the beautiful sounds of the Calypso band playing on the beach, made us stay for an amazing experience.
We enjoyed the food, it was quite tasty and reasonable priced for the environment.
The service was 2nd to none though. The servers go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and appreciated.
The person who sold us on coming back, Nevious, the supervisor here at the restaurant. What an amazing personality, and such an expert in hospitality. Cannot wait to come back and see him again, and enjoy this beautiful atmosphere.

Jalousie Grill is one of those places where the view completely outshines the food — unfortunately in the worst way for us.
We paid around US $160 for two for our meal, which I’m honestly fine with given the incredible setting between the Gros Piton and Petit Piton. The ambience is absolutely perfect, and the staff were attentive, checking in every 5–10 minutes throughout the meal. We also clearly informed them about our allergies and dietary restrictions, and they acknowledged it.
However, the food completely ruined the experience. I ordered the tandoori kingfish, my wife had the tandoori chicken, along with a banana pudding and a black coffee — and the aftermath was just awful. We both ended up with upset stomachs shortly after. After paying that kind of money, the last thing you expect is to feel unwell for the rest of the day.
I understand the hype around Sugar Beach, but this ended up being the worst meal we had on the island, despite one of the best views. Definitely disappointing.

Excellent food and very friendly service. The supervisor introduced him and wanted to ensure we were pleased with our meals. The food is pricey, listed in US, but well worth it. The view of the beach adds to the ambience. Would highly recommend if you can afford if you are in the area. Bonus: the restroom is very clean and spacious.

Wonderful restaurant overlooking Sugar Beach. We weren’t guests at the hotel, but were treated extremely well and were seated immediately without a reservation for lunch. The service was friendly and quick. The food was very good and had plenty of vegetarian options. Highly recommend spending a relaxing day here!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice lunch at this restaurant after a morning of snorkeling and lounging around at Sugar Beach. This is an open air restaurant and although it was a hot day, the restaurant itself had a nice breeze going through it and we were comfortable. They have a good selection of drinks and food. I ordered their Mojo Pork Sandwich, my husband had their Burger, and we shared a side of their White Cheddar Mac and Cheese. All were delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. This was a very nice place to relax, have a couple drinks, and get some food.
