Seems to me this is by far the best and largest supermarket in the city center area. Very clean. Large stock of everything I could possibly need. I'm a tourist so my opinion may differ from locals, but I checked 4 other supermarkets and they didn't measure up IMO.

The western union branch there has extremely poor customer service. As a visitor to the country I think the managers ought to find solutions to cater to visitors. Lines are long and goes all the way outside of the building, as a foreigner YOU MUST present your passport ( no other form of ID would be accepted) even if the Embassy has your passport to fulfill certain business transactions or you would not be able to collect the wire transfer. This is bad for business.

On my visit to Barbados, I stayed nearby and this was the supermarket I used. They had everything I needed and the prices weren't too bad either.
