Smooth experience which I recommend. So you can check the ferry schedule online before you go. When you're ready to travel, you’ll purchase your ticket at the terminal itself, since they don’t allow pre-purchase. The ferry ride lasts about an hour and cost 10us one way per person and it is quite comfortable. We did not get sea sick. There are both covered and uncovered seating areas, so you can choose based on your preference for views. Plus, there are restroom facilities on board, making the trip even more convenient.

So intrigued about St Vincent and the Grenadines that I am constantly looking for deals to fly there. We passed through for a day - Royal Caribbean Rhapsody of the Seas in November. This cruise port is really, really small. There wasn't a lot of fanfare at the port when we arrived. I do not believe that there are a lot of cruise ships that stop through here. If you do pass through on a cruise ship, you should plan on taking a shore excursion. This country is charming. We went to Bequoia Beach and Princess Margaret Beach. We saw the set of the Pirates of the Caribbean. The sand is a beautiful mix of gold and volcanic ash. And, we found the best pizza place in all of the Caribbean there. I would like to come back for a visit again.

I quite enjoyed this experience going from mainland to another island next door, as I'm a regular on big cruise ships, this ferry experience was a little different but nice...the terminal itself seems quite organised and the policing of it, as any questions and directions asked were quickly given.
