We had a date in El Yunque National Rainforest and decided to stay in the area—and it turned out to be such a special experience. We found a beautiful accommodation right in the middle of nature, run by a lovely family who made us feel very welcome. Our tent was huge, with an outdoor bathroom facing the forest, which felt incredibly peaceful and unique. The setting was absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. They also offer spa treatments, yoga, and a delicious homemade breakfast. There are lots of friendly animals around, which adds to the charm—one of their cats even slept with us all night. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience and definitely worth trying if you want something different and close to nature.

They are the most welcoming people I have met on the island. And will do just about anything to accommodate you. We had a medical emergency and they made sure to share support and be there if you need anything. I loved the property when we first got here but after the medical emergency they definitely raised the bar on compassion. I highly recommend them!

I wanted to try something unique for our Puerto Rico honeymoon, but unfortunately it turned into a terrible experience. The owner contacted me through WhatsApp, and I informed them that we would arrive in about 5 minutes. After that, there was no response at all. When we arrived, nobody answered the phone calls or messages. The property had almost no lighting, no guidance signs, and no clear check-in instructions. We received a WhatsApp message, but there was no map, details, or anyone there to assist us. The place honestly felt like an abandoned ghost house. There were several cats jumping around the spa area, strange mystical music playing somewhere in the background, and the whole atmosphere felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. My wife felt extremely uneasy, so we immediately got back into the car and left. Because of this situation, we struggled to find an affordable hotel nearby late at night and had to drive all the way back to San Juan to find another place to stay. It completely ruined our evening and added unnecessary stress to our honeymoon. Management seriously needs to improve communication, lighting, signage, and the overall atmosphere of the property to make guests feel safe and welcomed.

If you're not a person who likes camping, animals roaming free, bugs, or living at one with nature - it's really not the place for you. It might be a culture shock for you. But if you love animals, and nature, and you're a happy camper - it's the best place. I watched the sunrise from on top of the kitchen area and it was one of the best moments of my life And there were kitties everywhere around me doing their catwalks. I booked the yurt. It was The first time I heard the jungle at night - it was so alive something about it awakened something my cells, these are the sounds my ancestors heard when they rocked their babies to sleep. Check in was a little weird - but a lady helped us we dropped our bags and zipped off to jump in some waterfalls. It's so close to el yunque. I asked some people there if they would let me chop open a coconut, I saw a rusty machete but they let me borrow their power tools to open it. I chilled on the swing with a rooster and shared my coconut. And I'll never forget it. This is a special place, try to remember that you're a visitor in one of the most beautiful places in the World. Everything plays a role even the spider. I'll visit again..

I had mixed feelings about this place... Pros: great views, lots of animals like cats, chickens, birds and critters. Outside shower was amazing. The yoga patio on the roof was my favorite thing out of everything. Cons: Dirty rooms and floors, for some reason most of the place felt sticky, blankets smelled bad and there was lots of chicken poop on the floor. Community fridge was dirty... lots of different foods with questionable colors and stains all over the fridge door. When i got there the manager/lady who took us in was kinda rude about the payment, I felt confused about it and she made me feel unwelcome or even dumb to be there as a guest. Checking out was only placing the room key back on the door which felt very sketchy. They started construction at 9am on the dot in the room next to my friend's room. It was very loud and had zero warning it would be taking place. Communication was poor. Personally I wont come back there, one night was enough for me... the place has lots of potential but management and maintenance have to improve.
