Lima Bistro is, unfortunately, a tourist trap. The prices are extremely inflated and nowhere near justified by the quality of the food.
We ordered two appetizers and one main each. The Tuna Ceviche was actually good and ended up being the highlight of the meal. The other appetizer, the Market Ceviche, was recommended by our waiter but was very mediocre and lacked flavour.
For the mains, we ordered the Lobster Gnocchi and the Lomo Saltado. The gnocchi itself was cooked well, but the lobster, the main feature of the dish, was severely overcooked and incredibly chewy and they put melted cheese on the lobster…. it cost $50 USD. The Lomo Saltado ($40 USD) was also disappointing. The beef was served in cubes and was cooked well-done whereas we asked to have it medium-rare, making it very tough and chewy. As a result, we skipped on dessert and drinks.
Overall, the meal was underwhelming. The service was fine, although you will wait quite a while for the bill, and the atmosphere is beautiful, but the quality of the food simply does not match the prices. For what we paid ( around $150 USD), we expected much better.

Was truly blown away by this restaurant coming from a big food city. Everything about the experience was tasteful and romantic. The service was excellent. The dishes were perfectly timed and table was reset after every course. The food was incredible as well. We ordered the scallops, the duck leg, and tuna steak. And you cannot miss out on dessert! We had the French Toast and it melted in my mouth. Had I known this restaurant was going to be this impressive I would have saved it for the end of our trip- dinner last night did not compare whatsoever. Thank you Lima!

We came here our first night on our recent trip in Aruba and were tempted to come back every night for dinner. It was truly exceptional food. The service was wonderful as well. Would recommend to anyone visiting and can’t wait to come back again!

I visited Aruba for the first time last year, and went to Lima Bistro and it was truly the best meal I had during my vacation. So a year later, when visiting Aruba again, I had to come back! It did NOT disappoint. For starters, the bread with the red wine butter is to die for. The Jasmine drink was honestly the best drink I’ve ever had. I had the Mahi Mahi special, which was absolutely delicious, and the panna cotta dessert (which I had las time, so I was so excited to see it on the menu again!). Karen was our server and she was very attentive and so kind. After dinner, we wanted to walk around the city, and she said we could still come back after and have them call a taxi for us!

Without a doubt, one of the best Peruvian meals I've ever had outside of Peru. The chifles were a little thicker than what I'm used to and like, but still very good. The ceviche was well-made and very fresh, the lomo saltado is my favorite dish and I try it in every Peruvian restaurant I have the opportunity to visit, and this one did not disappoint, it was delicious, the meat was tender and the potatoes perfectly cooked, the portion of rice could have been larger, but nothing that compromised the experience. Overall, it was a waaaay more expensive meal compared to the other Peruvian restaurant near by, but it was a delightful experience and Maria was a great server.
