Good supermarket, well organized and easy to shop in. I really like their cakes and pastries. I often come here when I need to buy a birthday cake, and they usually have good options, along with other nice desserts. Overall, it’s a good place and I enjoy shopping here.

Misleading Product Information. I purchased a countertop oven toaster partly due to the attractive price of $14,086 and the prominently displayed 3-year warranty on the box. However, when I contacted customer service to inquire about the stated warranty, I was informed that the 3-year warranty is from the manufacturer to the store, and that I am only entitled to a one-month warranty—provided I still have the box and receipt. I asked if this was correct, as it appears to me that the store may be misleading customers by selling a product that clearly displays a 3-year warranty, only to find out that the actual warranty offered is just one month. The customer service representative politely stated that she could not comment further on the matter. After I got home, I opened the box and reviewed the instruction and information leaflet, which clarified that the warranty applies only to purchases sold in Canada and the USA. In light of this, and under Jamaican consumer protection laws—such as the Consumer Protection Act, which requires businesses to provide accurate and truthful information about products—I strongly believe the store has a legal, if not moral, obligation to either remove or clearly cover the displayed 3-year warranty to avoid misleading customers. Mega Mart has been put on notice for what I believe constitutes a violation of the Consumer Protection Act.

I visited the day before a Public Holiday which is usually very busy. The wait was not excessive and a new cashier was open to accommodate additional traffic. I appreciate the easy parking, clean toilet facilities and the various other entities in one place. I also appreciate the opening hours to accommodate busy people. The cashier and her packing assistant was friendly and helpful. I gave a 4 rating as the gentleman who was weighing the produce was somewhere else. I greeted him at the counter he barely looked up and was still looking on his phone. He was weighing and labeling the produce with his eyes still on his cellphone. He was not present. I told him thank you and he was still not engaged. I am not sure if he wanted to be there or somewhere else to be fully focused on his cellphone.

Lovely big supermarket that had everything i needed to buy . You pay for cigarettes at the till then walk over to another counter to pick them up. I guess they have a problem with theft of cigarettes but alcohol is freely displayed around the store. Plenty of parking

I dont know if it was the location, but everything seemed overpriced compared to regular grocery stores. The store was clean tidy, except for the water area. It was confusing that there were all types of different waters at the wrong places with the prices missing. The cash staff was not as friendly or as helpful as the floor staff. The food court has reasonably priced food.
