I asked for the price of tuna and was told $15 dollars a pound so I asked to see it. I ending up having one piece sliced into 3 steaks. The guy serving trimmed off the skin along one side and took out a bone. When I came to pay, he said it was $45. I understood that you have to pay for the skin and bone he’s taken out, but the weight when I got home was 1.5 lbs and the discarded parts would have taken the weight up to no more than 2lbs - probably a lot less. Wish I’d read the reviews as I have been ripped off like quite a few others. I won’t be buying from here again. If you do take a chance, I suggest you ask to see the scales.

Expect a significant variation in prices depending on who serves you. Not always friendly to tourists and for sure confirm prices before you part with your cash. I've been overcharged here a fair few times in the past. If you want better value, go to the Bridgetown fish market instead. If you are staying in a villa often they can arrange a delivery from the fishman directly and save you some dollars and the hassle.

Clean and well keep infrastructure.
Professional and experienced vendors.
Unfortunately, after hurricane Beryl, there was a decrease in the quantity and diversity of local fish.
