This was a fun and exciting excursion. The ride was about 1 hour from our resort and our guide Ruddy was amazing and provided a guided tour on thr ride as well as excellent information on location. We loved the coffee and cocoa making experience as well. The monkeys were so friendly, soft and light. My wife just loved having them run up and down and hopping from one person to the next. Ruddy the tour guide deserves a raise! Top notch guy.

We had a great time at Monkeyland in the Dominican Republic! The ride from our resort was nice and it was nice to see more of the country along the way. Our guides were excellent..friendly and with us from the moment they picked us up until they dropped us back at the resort. The monkeys were definitely the highlight of the trip. They came right up to us and seemed very well cared for. It was such a fun and unique experience interacting with them. We also really enjoyed the coffee and cocoa-making demonstration, which gave us a chance to learn a little about local products and culture. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Dominican Republic!

This was a great half day trip with the kids. We got picked up and dropped off from our hotel which took about 40 mins each way. Once there, it's about 1 hour with the mokeys and 1 hour touring a Dominican house and seeing how the locals make coffee and cacao. You are able to take your phone for pictures but bring a lock to lock up personal items as they try to charge you $5 for a lock. Our driver and tour guide Erickson and Gary were really nice and overall the kids really enjoyed themselves. They also sell professional photos for $50 but not pressure to buy.

Monkey Land was one of the highlights of our trip! Getting to interact with the monkeys up close was an experience we'll never forget. It's almost impossible not to smile the entire time. They do an excellent job taking photos too, which is great because it's hard to capture good pictures on your own while the monkeys are climbing all over you. The photo opportunities are amazing! We also really enjoyed the tour of the local area, where we learned how organic coffee, chocolate, and other local products are grown and made. It was a fun way to experience a little of the local culture in addition to the monkey encounter. A special shoutout to our guide, Simmy, who made the entire experience even better. He was energetic, funny, and kept everyone engaged from start to finish. If you're visiting the area, Monkey Land is absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommended!

This was a great experience! You should definitely do it... Booked through Runners Adventures. The price included the ride from our Hotel in Juan Dolio, the samples of coffee, hot chocolate, and oils, the amazing monkey experience, and buffet style lunch, which I found delicious. Also, the host was super nice. I think it's definitely worth the price. The monkeys will be all over you, so be prepared. They also say to not wear sunblock or bug repellent as it is toxic for the monkeys. You can bring your phone and take your own pictures. They will also take pictures and you have the option to purchase. They were not pushy about it. They take card if you want to purchase anything. I think I answered all the questions I had before I went. Ok, Enjoy!
