Interesting place to visit. Taxi from cruise port to downtown is $2.00 per person, but be careful because some taxi cabs charge you $5.00 per person to ride the exact same distance from downtown to port. I think it was not “fair” we waited a little and got a fair ride back ($2.00 as well)…. It is actually a 20 minute walk, but a 3 minutes ride. So, under the sun, it was worth paying for a taxi (just do not allow some to take advantage of you). We have left one bag on the taxi and he came back… honest people! We gladly appreciated it. He didn’t hace to come back and he did… so we gladly tipped him “nicely”. Beaches are the places to be in the Bridgetown area in my opinion, from previous visits.

Very expensive port. Beautiful country but prices are out of this world 🌎

This is a busy working port with plenty of activity to watch if you like that sort of thing. About forty minutes from the airport and about ten minutes to a decent beach ( Carlyle beach).

Nice mall next to the ferry terminal.. no working air conditioning, because building of mall is too huge.. but it's a nice place as first step onto Barbados

I did not see the mural. It is only accessible for cruise passengers.
