This was a reliable and fast way to hail a cab. The estimate for the price was indicated in app and was always bang on. The cabs showed up quickly, reliably; and when more details were required by the driver they would simply call. Also a quick mention... The taxi drivers in Barbados; all of them were courteous and easy-going.

We took a chance on the app during a January Girls Trip from Canada to start the year in a good way and we were pleasantly surprised. The app was easy to use, had an "Uber app" relatable feel where you could track your driver's arrival, and provided us with a pleasant driver who picked us up quickly, and provided us with a safe and smooth ride within Christ Church. I would recommend this app for those travelling from overseas and who need a swift way to get around Barbados.

I did some research for apps similar to Uber in USA/Canada and came across pickUp Barbados. I’m extremely glad I added the app prior to arriving on the island. What’s really amazing is that you fill out all your info and turn on your location and it finds you. Then when you’re ready to go and find a spot your wanting to travel to the app show you the driver and how far away they are. We had two really awesome pickups and both drivers Keith and Kevin both drivers were extremely prime and full of very chat. I would highly recommend this app to everyone who visits the island. I felt the prices were on par. The app has several different features as to how many are travelling so you can choose to pick a larger vehicle if needed. Both drivers we had so far were amazing friendly and full of useful information. I would highly recommend them to everyone. This app is perfect. Easy to find the app download and create an account and away you go. Amazing to use. I posted pictures from the beach were we went.

Pick Up Barbados worked great for our recent trip! Never had an issue getting a cab. Locally developed and owned business works much like Uber but happy to have learned about it and to support a local business!

Used PickUp when we checked out of our Airbnb and had lots of luggage. App easy to use and car was with us within a couple of minutes. Liked that we could register and communicate via WhatsApp as we didn’t have local coverage on phone. Would have been good if it was clearer that there would be extra charges for each piece of luggage. Still cheaper than Uber who I believe have recently launched on the island. Good to support a local business!!!
