nice place, but I had higher expectations. there are much more beautiful islands in the area compared to Barbados.

This review is about the stunning view you can have from here. With or without ships you can make amazing pictures. The sunsets are just mind blowing. The port itself is a normal Caribbean port - nothing good or bad about it :)

So this port is not the prettiest or one of the best we have arrived in around the globe . It is very industrial and it involves a lot of walking or shuttles to get out . The city of Bridgetown ain’t too bad and the rest of the island is nice to visit - recommend Andromeda Botanical Garden and Forest Flowers Botanical Garden for now nice scenery .

So walkable and wonderful. Easy walk or inexpensive taxi ride from cruise port to historical district where you can find and make your own fun.

Staff here are really friendly, lots of options for travel, taxis are cheap, 2 dollars per person into Bridgetown. Be careful if you get taxis out and then need one back, sometimes the drivers will try it on with costs. The Port can get busy when tours are leaving and when passengers are heading to the airport with luggage etc, just beware. There are though routes to avoid this if you leave at the top end of the Duty free shops by the Post office.
