Food was wonderful, staff was warm and friendly in an undeniably genuine way, and the view is exactly what one would imagine when daydreaming about a beachfront Caribbean eatery. To top it all off, my driver’s license fell out of my pocket during my visit, and not in daily need of it I hadn’t even noticed. The next day I returned to the restaurant as I knew where their wash room was and was in need of a pit stop. The woman working there remembered my face and called to me as I was getting back into my car to leave, informing me that she’d found my ID that I didn’t even know I was missing. Lucky, yes, but also a welcome reminder of how kind and considerate people can be.

The food was filling and came in a timely manner. However outside that, I'm assuming that seeing that we just sat, dined and had a drink there that we would be able to use the outside water to rinse off. The kitchen staff started making with the boys to not use the pipe. However, everything else was fine.

Great experience. Just us on a Monday evening for dinner. Friend chicken and fries and fish dinner. Would recommend and go again. Only cost 85 EC including beer and rum drink.

Not the absolute best food we had during our trip, but it was still great. Get the lobster and all the sides. The ladies working were above the baseline friendliness in Dominica as well, which was appreciated. Pretty dang nice place to have a beer and watch the sun go down.

The staff was actually pleasant, and the hibiscus juice was good. The food however was not good at all, actually the first bad meal we've had on the island. I got a burger and fries. The burger was a standard frozen patty as were the fries. The bread was horrible. My partner got the fish plate and didn't like any of it, sides included. We're not picky eaters either. The ship wrecks were cool to look at but I wouldn't swim here. Finally the bill came. They only accept cash, which I prefer, and they claim to accept USD. The waitress said she's never had an issue before me, which tells me too many people either don't understand basic math, or simply don't bother checking, but here's how my experience went: She converted my food bill to $30usd. I wanted to pay with $100usd bill. That means I should expect $70usd in change, converted to ECD. They give a rate of 2.50 - lower than the pinned rate of 2.70, but acceptable considering they are saving me the hassle of an exchange or bank. So, 70 x 2.5 = 175 ECD (expected change). It's as basic a math problem as one can do 😵‍💫. However, the waitress kept insisting my change would only be 51 ECD 🤯. Every attempt I made to explain the correct math to her was met with "I know we're ripping you off, but I'm just doing my job". The problem is she thought I was complaining about them using a rate of 2.50, a rate I was perfectly happy with. She completely refused to even consider that she may be running the numbers wrong. I honestly can't even figure out how one comes to 51 as an answer 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️. That's basically giving me $20usd when I should be getting $70usd. All of that said, she remained pleasant enough throughout the 10 min back and forth. There was just a utter refusal to listen to any kind of reason 🤦🏼‍♂️. So, just be careful.
