More slave huts. Similar to the white ones further north. Smaller that some modern dog kennels. Sad.

Really cool place. Someone said the yellow houses were for slaves. So as I was standing there, I asked their souls to help us heal from the terrible attrocities, I asked the ocean to wash away their pain and suffering so their souls can watch over us and continue their journey. Take deep breaths, immerse yourself with the surroundings because history is important.

It's quite the shock of seeing where slaves were cruelly cram so many slaves in those miniature sheds; though if you're expecting a place where you can expand on historic value, don't expect much from it.
It's a bit underwhelming, but still a must see spot in Bonaire.

Interesting and thought provoking surface historical site and dive site. Slave huts where they stayed and you can examine. Obelisk marker for ships at the time is on site. Makes for great sunset photography.
