Great beach, Ricco and team will look after you. Toilettes, at near by, there are a number of beach bars so you can use them. Beach is quiet, waves are quite strong and it’s not an actual swimming beach but worth visiting and staying the whole day.

To be fair the beach is lovely and sunbeds super comfy.
First day was great, but the second day we asked for the same beds only to be told we couldn’t use them as reserved (literally hundreds of free beds along the front (and it was 11am!).
We mentioned we were told we couldn’t reserve beds the day before….? So we moved to outside Jumas and get two lovely beds from Kevin.
I don’t mind policies and processes but keep them consistent and fair to all eh?

Hiring sunbeds here cost 60BBD/30USD for 2 beds as of December 2024
The beds are comfy and staff are good

Just had the most rudest encounter with a beach personnel wearing Rico’s tshirt. There’s a few sun lounger services along that stretch of the beach. We found nice spot and were approached by staff who told that we can’t sit there because we apparently ignored him earlier when we walked along the beach looking for a spot. Instead he could only give us loungers somewhere at the back

Rico’s is the only company to deal with if you want friendly, efficient sun- lounger hire service at the best beach spot on the west coast of Barbados. Have been using Rico for years, very obliging and nothing is too much trouble for these guys.
