⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rum Point was one of our favorite spots to visit on Grand Cayman. While we didn’t dine there or try any of the drinks, we thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the property. The gift shop was by far the nicest and most upscale gift shop we visited on the island, offering a great selection of quality souvenirs and unique items. We visited during the off-season in June, which made for a wonderfully peaceful experience with plenty of seating available. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our kids especially loved snorkeling around the beach area and exploring the calm, clear water. The beach was family-friendly and felt safe for children. We also appreciated the clean bathrooms and showers, which made it easy to rinse off after swimming. Parking was plentiful and free, making the entire visit convenient and stress-free. Whether you’re looking to relax, shop, snorkel, or simply enjoy a beautiful day by the water, Rum Point is absolutely worth a visit.

A wonderful place to go. My husband and I went for dinner, without a reservation, at 5:30pm. Despite the sunset dinner rush at 7:00pm, they were able to accommodate us. The service was wonderful and pleasant and the food was our favorite so far into our trip (day 3). The atmosphere was also very welcoming and inviting. The beach chairs/cabanas were open at the time we went so we were able to snag two under a tree just in time for sunset. Highly recommend a visit.

We ate ate Solis at Rum Point twice, and had incredible dining experiences both times. The first time was before doing a bio bay kayak tour. I was not aware you could make reservations, but our excellent server (Pradesh?) was able to seat us at the last available table for 2 on the outside deck. We enjoyed the grilled oyster app, tuna poke bowl, and peach burrata spinach salad, and original mudslide! After finishing we walked out on the pier to watch the sun set, not realizing I had left a shirt on my chair. Manager Abhi (from India) couldn’t leave the reservation desk, but he sent server Supa (from Nepal) to return it to me. She literally came running out of breath to find us on the dock. What outstanding customer service!! We loved it there so much we came back the next day for lunch and had another excellent server, Guile. We enjoyed smoothies, the fish sandwich, and sprout salad with chicken. Thank you again for the stellar service and excellent food. Highly recommend!

Food wad excellent. Their bartenders were awesome and fun to talk to. The service once you are on the beach is rare but you can get a tab and walk up to the bar whenever you want. The water itself is hard to swim in due to seaweed. Otherwise nice place to chill and read a book or meet cool people.

Rum Point in the Cayman Islands is still such a beautiful, relaxing spot and overall we had a great experience! The swimming was absolutely excellent—calm, clear water and perfect for just floating and enjoying the day. It’s hard to beat that kind of setting. The drinks were still delicious, though a little different than I remember. They used to be served in coconuts or pineapples, which added such a fun touch. That said, they were still really good—my favorite was the “BBC,” followed by the piña colada, with the mudslide coming in last. The food during our first visit was fantastic. We sat outside, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Our server (I believe his name was Guy) was incredibly accommodating and fun, which made the experience even better. We did come back a second time and had to sit inside, where the experience was a bit different. The menu had changed, and we ended up ordering pizzas. They were good, but the selection was pretty limited—only about three choices—which was a little disappointing. Overall, still a great place with an amazing atmosphere. A few small changes from what I remembered, but definitely worth visiting!
