I booked this hotel for a week for my first trip to Grenada. It was probably only a good option for 1-2 nights. On the first night I noticed there were stains on the sheets, pillows and couch. The “kitchen table” and chairs were lawn chairs and table. The “king size” bed was just two really bad mattresses laid side by side and made for a very uncomfortable stay considering the tv was also in the bedroom. When ordering room service, expect to wait at least an hour for mediocre food. It was not even hot when they brought it to my room after waiting that long. The hotel staff did not come clean the room for the first 4 days and took 6 hours to bring new towels. There was constant noise and furniture being moved above my room at all hours of the night and day. I will say that the location is great, walking distance from the beach and some stores and restaurants. The front desk staff was helpful and kind. I also loved the view from the balcony. It was beautiful. But cleanliness was certainly disappointing and so was the food brought by room service and the outdated and uncomfortable and dirty furniture was a turn off as well. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Hands down the Siesta Hotel was the best stay ever! I provided a 4/5 stars due to housekeeping not changing the towels daily for the room. However, that is minor compared to the overall trip. My daughter and I stayed in the hilltop suites which is suitable if you enjoy walking up hills. The Siesta is a short walk across the street from the Spiceland Mall, Real Value IGA grocery store, Umbrella's restaurant, Cummin Up BBQ, Grand Anse Beach, an ATM, and KFC. There's also a new Roti restaurant up the street from the hotel. Deon and Bayan took care of any questions and concerns I had via email. Miss. Deon was amazingly resourceful and was very kind. Since the hotel does not serve alcohol, it makes for a very great family friendly stay. I strongly advise trying the cocoa tea and passion fruit juice at the hotel. Miss. Deon was kind enough to inform me how to prepare the cocoa tea. The location is perfect away from loud noises from nightlife but close enough to everything you could imagine. It's also only 8min from the airport and 14min from the Osprey Ferry port.

For the price, this hotel can’t be beat. The location is really perfect, as you can walk to Grand Anse Beach and the shops at Spiceland mall. Rooms were clean and perfectly adequate (ie. air conditioning worked.) You may have to ask for more housekeeping like extra towels if you need it. The restaurant breakfast was nice and it is very safe with 24 hour security. If you adjust your expectations (given the very affordable price) you will be pleased. While it’s not luxury, it’s just what I needed.

The hotel is very comfortable given the relatively modest price point, with well-equipped and attractive rooms. It’s conveniently located about a 15 minute walk to Grande Anse beach and a 10 minute walk to a shopping mall, grocery store, and some eateries. The pool is a luxurious touch, and the property itself is well maintained and beautiful. Our room was cleaned and towels changed every day. I slept like a baby every night.
I see some former reviews here that mention a “traditional Grenadian breakfast plate” and cocoa. I would have loved to try those things, but they did not appear to be available when we went for breakfast. Based on our experience, we would not suggest eating breakfast at the hotel, as the options were quite limited and did not include regular (rather than instant) coffee. If you, like me, need regular coffee to start your day, Mykonos Cafe down the street does the trick. For a short stay, this was not a big problem for us.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it to other travelers.

Hotel siesta
Breakfast till 11
Lunch starts 12-3
Great location, didn't hear the screening tree frogs.
At night Tv would gain and lose channels randomly. Sometimes 12/ 20 channels played the exact same program. Sometimes there was 20different things on. Not consistent signal for the channels.
