South Point Lighthouse

Abandoned lighthouse. The only occupants now are monkeys. Good view of that part of the south coast from the edge of the compound. Something to do if you're walking in the area on a cloudy & showery day. Don't go breaking a sweat to get here. It's more a 'plan D' kinda vibe.

Not much to do here apart from view the beautiful lighthouse. There is enough space to make a great restaurant as the view of the sea is stunning.

There's a nice view from the lighthouse area but the lighthouse itself is pretty run down looking. It is free so it's worth checking out if you're driving around the island

I rented a ebike from captain larys ebikes and stopped here during a self made southern tour of the island. You can bike right up to the base, nobody around but lighthouse was locked (as expected). Nice working lighthouse near southern tip of barbados.

Closed lighthouse. Not much to see other than it standing there but if you like lighthouses, it’s easy enough to get to! Admire and take pictures of it.
