We booked a minivan with them back in 9 months prior to our arrival in Virgin Gorda. I had a medical episode on the flight there and was rushed to the hospital for test. We alerted them of the situation and they assured us the reservation was being held and the vehicle would be waiting on us the next day. Upon our arrival, there was no one there to meet us as promised. Our villa concierge called them for us and they told her there was confusion and they gave our van to someone else. They never called me, never emailed me to alert me of their screw up. They did happily decline to reimburse us for the added cost we incurred with the taxi we had to use until we could secure a new rental. Lucky for us it was the slow season. We heard from numerous people on the island that they are the worst to deal with. Highly recommend L and S jeep rentals who stepped in to save us!!
UPDATE: they are claiming in their response that they “missed our message”…that is a total lie, my wife spoke to me them directly on the phone and they assured her the car was being held until the next day.

Speedys made renting a car on Virgin Gorda an easy experience. Upon arrival at the airport, our vehicle was waiting outside. Many rental companies are a hassle for customers, but Speedys made it enjoyable. Any questions I had throughout the week were answered over the phone or email. Pricing was affordable - $328 for our rental for 6 days. We miss driving around in Jimny Cricket already!

This was the best car rental experience I’ve had! The car was affordable, ready for us at the airport when we arrived, and we were able to leave it at the airport when we flew out—super convenient. There was a small issue with my credit card, but they reached out by email and kindly asked me to call back the next day to resolve it. They were incredibly friendly and professional on the phone.
The only minor challenge was that they’re a bit hard to reach by phone due to how busy they are, but their email communication worked perfectly for us. Overall, a seamless and pleasant experience!

Tried to go to Gorda island. We were twenty minutes early, and the ship came thirty minutes late. We didn’t go on, ship comes every 2 or 3 hours during weekdays. Families were split apart and creating collective frustration. Felt like a hostage situation seeing kids and parents split apart. Took them 20 minutes to turn around and drop the separated families apart.

Speedy's was great! Easy to rent and a good car. We rented a car in the Virgin Gorda harbour and it was already there when we arrived. The nicest people to deal with too. Highly recommend!
