I could find any information if it was walkable from Simpson Bay. My wife and I did make the trek and it wasnt bad at all. The shoulder of the road is sketchy at times but the road is wider than the streets in town. Its about 1 1/2 mile walk from the Burger King. Bring some water!!

So, maybe it was because we had just been at Fort Amsterdam with its absolutely stunning views, but there was practically nothing to see here - not even a flag on the flag pole. The brush around the viewing point was overgrown, so it was impossible for my children to see anything. I had to pick up my children - including my 7 year old - to see the view, which wasn’t nearly as impressive as Fort Amsterdam. The kids didn’t want to get out of the car after just finishing the walk up and back at the fort - plus it was hot! - so it took some convincing and I wish we’d just kept on driving! I would personally recommend going to Fort Amsterdam and Fort St. Louis and passing on this.

Great place to catch a sunset. Small parking lot right on the side of highway. No cost, no services, just an excellent vista: southeast out to the sea, all the way round to the NW towards Marigot.

You have a nice view of the Island.
There used to be a Restaurant but it was destroyed during Hurricane Irma in 2017.
If you are on an Island Tour not a bad spot to stop and enjoy the scenery. We stopped here with our ATV Tour.

Local monument site that is basically a giant flagpole. Nice vista, worth stopping by to take in the views of various faces of the island and the seas. Interesting wildlife in this small area.
