The house itself is lovely, but I was extremely disappointed with the overcrowded tour. We paid US$35 per person and only got to see the three rooms in the downstairs of the house (of the total 3 floors with 7 bedrooms). Then we were given a tasting of the in-house rum, but really it was just a shill to sell their product to the overweight cruise ship excursion people (and the young rum was very sharp and only good for mixing). It appeared that the distillery may have showed a working fractionator, but there was no way that I could know for sure. There was also no mention of anything related to growing, harvesting, or fermenting, so far all I know, that distilling fractionator was just a showpiece for gullible tourists (plenty of showy barrels, but no obvious collection devices attached to the fractionator). I'm glad the house has been preserved, but I felt that for the rather pricey sum of money I paid, that I had been fleeced and taken for a ride.
