Beautiful soft, soulful music. Somehow evocative of South America or a big budget Western movie. A lady somewhere behind my right ear harmonized once in a while, but without being showy, very gentle and sweet. With a minor miracle of perfect timing the guitar player took communion in the final phrase of the hymn, leaving the congregation hovering acapella at just the right moment. Father took a while to find himself at the beginning of the homily (phone screen took some scrolling to find his notes) but once he hit his stride he was clear, precise and passionate in the Word. A lot more than daily bread here, something REALly uplifting! What a joy!
