My wife and I recently had the pleasure of sailing with Stingray Sailing and we absolutely loved it. Stop your search now this is “THE” tour. Chip and his first mate run a great family run tour - a snorkeling stop and a visit to stingray city. Take the afternoon tour if possible - less tour boats will be out due to the cruise ship passengers have to be back on their cruise. When we went we were literally the only boat at Stingray City and boy were they excited to see us! We swam with them for 20 minutes before a second boat arrived - it was amazing. I highly recommend this small group tour - we will do it again when we return to beautiful Cayman.

If you’re looking to interact with the stingrays while in Grand Cayman, look no further than Stingray Sailing! Captain Chip and Kai were so welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate. They were not joking that when the Catamaran pulls up, the stingrays flock to them! We loved that it was a small group tour (20-people maximum) and that the prioritized the treatment and well being of the rays. Other boats were packed in like sardines and were overwhelmed with people and this couldn’t have been more opposite. We highly recommend you support this family-run business while you’re in Cayman (don’t wait to book like we did - we were lucky enough that they had one last spect during our trip but sounds like that’s rarely the case)!

Chip and his crew mate Mark were amazing. Starfish point was first as we passed the Stingrays which was overcrowded to start. The stingrays were well handled and Mark was very patient with the smaller timid kids wanting to touch or kiss the ray. The coral reef snorkeling was all the best I’ve participated in calm water, lily pad for security and a well inhabited reef. In addition to great conversation along the way. The main reason we partook in the sail was to spread my father in laws ashes. The sun was out, the winds were calm and it was a private spot. He and Mark moved to the front of the boat and gave us the privacy we wanted for our family time. We had the sail out for the time back to the dock and loved every moment. Thank you. Would recommend. 100%

I spent a lot of time and research looking for an eco-friendly tour company to see the stingrays. In addition to the 5 stars on Google and multiple recommendations on Reddit I chose this company because of the small tour sizes and ethics. If you’re looking for a small group, care about the stingrays and want someone reputable and local then look no further! Thanks to Chip, Mark and Dre for a phenomenal experience. 10/10!

While I have only taken one sting ray tour, I am confident this is the best. The sting rays seem to know each of the boats. In other tours of 40 people, they stood in a big circle and the guide had one person at a time hold the sting ray while a photographer took a picture that they were going to charge for. Guess what, the sting rays did not like this, so there were very few sting rays by the people. And the people in the group did not look happy, in fact they were watching us at our boat. The difference - respect. Captain Chip and Kaya told us how to respect the sting rays and not to chase them, pick them up, etc. The sting rays seem to know Stingray Sailing’s boat and come over to the group at the boat. We easily had 20 sting rays the entire time. We got to feed them, and they then would swim right up to you and you could pet their undersides, which are very soft, their tops are tougher and their tails are very bumpy. Just watch out for the barb about 1/3 down and feel going towards the bottom of the tail, not bottom towards the head. They were so much fun to swim with and it was amazing to have them coming right up to you. I did not see this behavior with any of the other tour boats. I highly recommend Stingray Sailing as a great experience. Cheers to Captain Chip for animal welfare.
