I am the Canadian tourist and I was visiting old San Juan. I needed to pick up a few snacks, but did not want to get out of my way to go to the grocery store so this was perfect. It was located right on my way to the bus stop. Although the store is quite compact, it has everything that a person may need. The staff is really kind and helpful. I forgot one of my grocery items and the lovely cashier came after me. The staff is also bilingual, which is helpful tutorials. I saw a few souvenir knickknacks. It’s also a great stop if you’re looking for something cool to drink or something quick to eat at won’t break your bank account.

The area seemed safe during the day for tourists. This area was bumper to bumper on this particular day. It is best to walk on days like this. It is not handicapped accessible though. There are brick streets, curbs, hills, etc.

Your standard Latin american supermarket with long queues and slow cashiers. Expect waits up to 15 min on weekends. Good amount of stuff decent price.

Such a handy place in old San Juan to get some fresh fruit, as well as plenty of other staples if we needed them.

Fruits are expensive and strawberry 🍓 is a bit moldy. Big enough and you can get some food like bread too!
