We booked this holiday through Corendon and thought it was simply very good. We stayed in the 'old' part and everything was neat; the floor is a bit bare but that is not a problem. The shower and bed are fine, there is free air conditioning, and the staff is friendly and helpful, happy to assist and explain everything. The best part is that it is only 10 to 15 minutes from the center, so it is ideal.

We booked The Ritz Village through Corendon, but unfortunately, our stay was a major disappointment. We found the location somewhat remote, and the room was very basic. The ceiling looked grubby, and the whole place didn't give us a fresh feeling. We later heard that this building used to be an ice factory, which might explain the damp character. The towels were replaced daily but smelled foul and definitely not clean. Additionally, the room was sprayed with air freshener after every cleaning. As soon as that scent dissipated, a musty, damp, moldy smell lingered in the room, which simply felt unhealthy. On our fourth night, we were even woken up by a strange hissing sound right next to the bed. When my husband turned over, the sound stopped. That gave us such an unpleasant feeling that we decided to go somewhere else immediately. After reading recent negative reviews, we recognized a lot of the issues and knew we were doing the right thing by leaving. We did not report this to the reception, because we simply wanted to leave and no longer felt comfortable there. Never again The Ritz Village for us, and we certainly do not recommend this accommodation.

Excellent place to stay if you're visiting Curaçao. Close to the center, you can leave your car there and explore without worries. Clean and pleasant room. Highly recommended, I'd definitely return.
