It took some time for the food to come out although no one was in the restaurant eating (they were there drinkin). I just knew the food was going to be fresh & hot. It was opposite of that. Lacked seasoning as well. Even the rice and beans were nasty. Very underwhelming dish that cost too much

June is the offseason and there wasn’t much open or to do on the island so we ended up here on the beach. The manager was friendly but the waitress was indifferent. My second drink had two bugs in it and I said, “I get we are on the beach but I can’t drink this.” She didn’t say let me make you another one. Instead she asked if it came that way from the bar or did it happen on the beach. I explained that I didn’t inspect the drink and after an eye roll she finally offered a new one and I declined. Shortly after that a local man named Charlie who sells photo ops with his monkey started abusing the poor thing on the beach and most of the clientele left. I had people constantly trying to sell me watches and massages and I understand the need but it was still annoying.

Vibes is a great beach bar. Location is great. They play all the sports games.

First time visiting Vibes. We were pleasantly greeted and all seemed well from the beginning. We sat at the bar ordered a beer and asked for a cocktail menu. The beer came quickly followed by a menu. The waitress returned about 5 minutes later to take my drink order. There was one other party in the establishment when we arrived. Another party of 3 came in shortly after. Their drink order was placed a served directly to them as we continued to wait. 15 minutes later, my drink arrives in a paper cup but it’s decent so no real complaints. Placed another order for chicken another beer and second drink. 20 minutes later the bar is filling up. Drinks are being served to other patrons (locals) in glasses while we continue to wait for our order. We inquire about our order and are reassured it’s coming. The bar tender makes the drink, puts it in a paper cup and sits it on the far end of the bar. We watch as flies and bees swarm in and around the drink. Surely it is not ours. It must be for someone on the beach. Nope it’s ours and it’s not what we ordered. The waitress insists it’s the same it just looks different. No ma’am this is a completely different drink. She takes it to the bar tender who asks out loud so what do you want me to do with it!? Wow… could you be more disrespectful? Now it’s time to ask for a manager. Lisa was helpful. She overheard the conversation remade the drink. She was apologetic but why did it have to come to that? Unfortunate, but we will probably scratch Vibes from our list in the future.

Beautiful beach with seating area for eating. Loungers with umbrellas on the beach. Great music. Attentive staff!
