An Adventure Filled with Fun, Mud, and Beautiful Scenery!
Yaaman Adventure Park was one of the highlights of our trip to Jamaica! We had an amazing time from start to finish.
The ATV buggy ride was an absolute blast! It was muddy, exciting, and so much fun—we didn’t mind getting dirty one bit because that’s part of the experience. If you’re looking for a little adventure, this is definitely worth it.
The cooking class was another favorite. It was interactive, informative, and we loved learning how to prepare authentic Jamaican cuisine. It made us appreciate the culture even more.
The river was absolutely beautiful. It was so peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and take in Jamaica’s natural beauty.
The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the organization could have been better. There were several times when we found ourselves standing around waiting or having to ask staff what activity was next because there wasn’t much direction. A little more communication and clearer scheduling would make the experience even better.
Overall, we still had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend Yaaman Adventure Park to anyone visiting Jamaica. The activities, scenery, and memories we made far outweighed the minor organizational issues.

Overall, a fun, jam-packed day! I purchased the Hundred Mile package, which included ATV rides, swimming at the Blue Hole, a cooking class, a tour of the plantation Great House and property, and time in the aviary meeting and feeding the birds. There's a lot packed into one visit, and the staff was mostly friendly and hospitable.
My one critique: the transitions between activities felt disjointed. As a customer, I often wasn't sure where to wait or for how long between each stop.
Things to Know Before You Book
No advance booking needed — you can absolutely book in person the day of.
ATV insurance is optional, and costs $10.
Storage lock: You'll need to pay $10 for a lock to store your belongings, since bags, electronics, and phones aren't allowed on the ATV ride. Pro tip: bring your own lock if you can, so you can skip this non-refundable fee.
Bring a mask or bandana for the ATV ride — the helmets don't have built-in face coverings, so this is your best defense against bugs, dirt, and mud flying in your face.
Ladies, plan your hair accordingly: the ATV helmets are snug, so a low ponytail or hair worn down works best if you want to avoid messing up your hairdo.
Bring your own water and snacks. Food and drinks are available for purchase on-site, but it's worth packing a water bottle or two, plus some snacks, to keep yourself refreshed between activities.
The walk to the Blue Hole is down a steep hill. It's easy going down, but the climb back up could be tough for anyone who's less physically fit or has mobility challenges.
Plan for at least 5+ hours at the facility if you're doing one of the packages — factor this into any transportation pickup arrangements.

Our family recently went on the Zip Line and Blue Hole excursion we booked through our cruise line, and it was one of the highlights of our trip!
Kimmy and the boys took such great care of our group from start to finish. Two of my kids were very nervous, and the staff continuously checked on them, offering encouragement, patience, and support every step of the way. At some point during the day, I’m pretty sure Kimmy became my youngest son’s biggest fan, which made the experience even more special for him.
The entire team was professional, fun, and safety-focused while still making sure everyone had an amazing time. Their positive attitudes and energy made the excursion unforgettable.
If I could change one thing, I would have worn an old pair of tennis shoes instead of water shoes, but that’s completely on me. Everything else was fantastic!
The lifeguards at the Blue Hole were amazing as well. They were attentive, helpful, and made safety a top priority while still making sure everyone was having fun. Whether people were jumping, swimming, or just taking in the experience, they were always nearby offering assistance and encouragement. Their professionalism and positive attitudes helped make the Blue Hole portion of the excursion just as memorable as the zip lining.
Thank you, Kimmy and the team, and Lifegurads at the Blue Hole for helping our family make such wonderful memories. We would absolutely do this excursion again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jamaica!

My boyfriend and I visited Yaaman Adventure Park last year and booked the “Full Hundred Tour” expecting a fun, well-rounded day. What we got instead was a rushed, uncoordinated experience filled with upsells and underwhelming service.
🦜 Bird Aviary
This was the first stop, located right at the entrance. Unfortunately, there was no guide and no explanation, just a quick “go in, feed couple birds and take pics.” That was it. The area itself was okay, but the experience felt empty.
🍳 Cooking Tour
This was the only part of the day that actually felt worthwhile. After taking the jitney up to the great house, we cooked our own lunch, which was pretty tasty. But let’s be clear: that meal you cook is your lunch. No lunch break or extra food included.
🏎️ Buggy/ATV Ride
More of a letdown than a thrill. We waited around for another group before we could start. The ride itself was just a slow up-and-down trail, no challenge, no speed, no scenery, and fumes from the vehicles made it unpleasant, not to mention how hot it was just riding the ATV, my thighs felt like they were going to burn off from the engine.
💧 Secret Blue Hole
We were looking forward to this the most, but it was the most rushed part of the day. We were barely in the water for 5–10 minutes before being told we had to leave with a group we didn’t arrive with, despite the fact that we came alone…..They claimed it was the last ride out and the park was closing, which made us feel pushed out and robbed of the experience.
💸 Insurance & Photo Scam
We were charged an insurance fee upfront. The biggest rip-off: we were charged 5,500 JMD for just 2 printed photos (plus the digital versions). For two people? That’s overpriced. Take your own pictures!
you’ll save money and probably get better shots.
🎟️ Free Return Pass?
We were given a “free return pass” for the Blue Hole as a consolation, but after how things went, we never used it. Once was enough.
✨ Shoutout to Donovan, our jitney driver, he was polite, cheerful, and the only staff member who made us feel welcome.
Final Thoughts:
The “Full Hundred” tour was more like “Half Effort.” For the price and promise, we expected better. This felt like a poorly organized cash grab with very little care for guest experience. Jamaica has far better-run attractions. Save your time and money.

1st they swindled you into getting insurance on those raggedy 4 wheelers! DO NOT GET INSURANCE ON THEIR BIKES THEY’RE ALREADY TRASH. Bring as least as possible because you have to pay for lockers that’s completely falling apart and not big enough for anything more than a very small bag. You cannot bring your phone or take pictures. I gave 3*s because the actual trail ride itself was extremely fun even though we lost a couple people a couple times😂
