Unfortunately, our experience here was very disappointing, especially compared to the exceptional service and dining experiences we enjoyed elsewhere on the property. We chose to dine here on our last evening in Barbados and planned it as my husband's birthday dinner, using the remaining dining credit we had available. We arrived at approximately 7:30 PM and did not receive our entrées until nearly 9:30 PM. Had we not ordered a small appetizer, we would have been waiting two hours with no food at all. Our server, Jeriel, was pleasant and courteous throughout the evening, and we appreciate his efforts. However, the excessive wait time significantly impacted our experience. We were dining with our 2-year-old child, who understandably became restless after such a long delay, and by that point, both my husband and I were simply tired and ready to leave. We were informed that a large party of approximately 15 guests had caused delays in the kitchen. While we understand that unexpected challenges can arise, there appeared to be little effort made to address the inconvenience experienced by other guests. We noticed the manager on duty providing complimentary drinks to tables both before and after us, yet no similar gesture was extended to our table despite our lengthy wait. Eventually, we asked if our meals could simply be sent to our room because we could no longer justify waiting. Ironically, we were then told that the food was ready, so we took it to go. As a result, we never truly experienced the meal as intended and cannot honestly comment on the quality of the food itself. What made the evening even more disappointing was that this dinner was meant to celebrate my husband's birthday. There was no acknowledgment of the occasion, no special touch, and nothing that made the evening feel celebratory. For a bill of approximately $289 BDS, we expected a far better experience. Unfortunately, what should have been a memorable birthday dinner became one of the most disappointing parts of our trip.

Great restaurant. The service was slow, but the environment was extremely intimate and the food was delicious. Thai cuisine and Japanese cuisine in the same restaurant! Does it get any better? We really enjoyed dinner here. We would highly recommend it to anyone vacationing who likes Japanese and Thai food. They have a beautiful view of the ocean, but we got there and it was already dark. It gets darker here than it does in Texas.

After 52 years on planet earth this was the absolute best prawns and curry I have ever had! The dinner ranks as the best I have ever eaten. The service was awesome and the sparkling water flowed like a river. The price is super reasonable and affordable in comparison to other high end restaurants on the island. We have lived here for a few months and eat out once in awhile. We stay on the West Coast but decided to check out the resort. Awesome place, Bajan people are always amazing, the people were kind and welcoming! Don't miss out on adding a little Zen to your life... I had #609 Prawns in case you are wondering exactly what I had. Out compliments to the Chef!

When we called to make this reservation, they asked if there was a reason for celebration. We told them it was our honeymoon and they immediately sent a wine bottle to our room. When we got to the restaurant, they sat us in a semi private booth. The food was 10/10. We actually went again during this trip because it was so good. They gave us a dresser at the end that said congratulations. They were very sweet!

Had a wonderful dinner at Zen, the service is excellent and the food was divine. They have a well thought out menu with something for everyone.
