It was a good experience. I purchased several prints during the lock down which I made masks with. They always carry fabric that I fancy. Did not have to wait long to be dispatched and the young lady was quite pleasant. I've opted to let her serve me when I go since the pandemic since she has good customer service skills. Next time I shall ask her name or look back at my bill to commend her on her work ethic.

SHERATON REVIEW: The fabric selection, quality and prices are wonderful here. Once you become accustomed to the payment procedure, that is fine too. But oh boy. The customer service. I've been to the Sheraton branch only, a good few times now over a number of years. Assistants follow you when you pick up retail items as if you are a thief, then disappear like smoke when you need help with fabric. The attitude is, surly. Literally the only word for it. This is common in Barbados, I have no idea why. But the part where the assistant is interrupting conversations ABOUT THE FABRIC and quantity you need for a project to ask if you are done so they can return to conversing with each other. Literally asked, "Are you done?" Trying not to correct this behaviour is difficult, it seems to be the nature of customer service in Barbados, so who am I to complain? But it is truly disconcerting. If the fabric selection wasn't so good, I would avoid entirely. I just limit the visits, which is good for my pocket but bad for Abeds bottom line. Oh well.

Abed's-The Cutting Edge Annex at Sheraton Centre for attendance at a patternmaking course. How did our instructor do such a marvelous job integrating Mathematics into design? Frank simply followed The Golden Rule and the rest they say is history.
Learning and applying what one knows to contribute to artistic design 🎨 adds much value to our world.

I found a great material here at half the price of what I would find in the US.
This was a great find. Customer service was great.
