If I could leave a 0 star I definitely would. I genuinely had high hopes for the service from Aeropost as this was my first time using their service, however that was not the case.
First, the cost calculator calculates the wrong values. Plugged in the expected value and weight of my items and I ended up being charged more. Even after they received my package I used the label and weight that they stated the package was and the cost calculated was still less than what I was paid.
Secondly, The time it took for me to receive my package is outrageous. I received my package 3 weeks after being told it had arrived in Barbados. When I was notified that it was in Barbados I made it known about where my preferred pickup was and I waited to receive the email about it. I even messaged to ensure that everything was in order for my package. I was told that the package was waiting to be transferred to my preferred pick up. 2 weeks later still no email about the package. I then called the office only to be put on hold and left for 3 times. I then called another number who alerted me that my package was in-fact still at the warehouse. I let her know that I had selected the option of it to be delivered at one of the lockers. She said that you have to alert them of your choice, I then let her know I already did that 2 weeks ago, the response was that she would put it to be transferred.( That should have been done 2 weeks ago).
Overall, the experience made me feel like I hadn’t paid for this service and I was just getting it done for free. Definitely not ordering with them again.

I’ve been using this logistic company for some time and giving them 4 stars only because of late it seems like you have to wait forever to get your packages sent to the locker for collection. Other than that you do get great service, have never gotten any other issues.

Worst place to do any sort of business. I ordered a package for a birthday celebration a whole month before. My package was in customs for over 3 weeks and no sort of communication until I called and found out that after I already paid 60bds to get my package from Miami I have to pay a whole 72usd more to clear from customs. Way more than I would've already paid for the entire package. No one ever answers the phone the service is RIDICULOUS and AWFUL. There's no communication, the time to get what's yours is too damn long. PLEASE USE THIS AS A WARNING and do not do any business with this place.

Update 2: The package I needed was delivered to me.
Update: I reached out to the email in the response I received and Ms. Saborio took over my case. All of the questions I had, she had answers for me and within 36 hours had my package ready for pickup. I headed to aeropost after class but received a call from Mr. King. He told me they closed at 4 instead of 5 (Google says 5). However, he asked me where I stayed and said do worry we will drop the package in a locker close to you. Will update again once the package is received.
Absolutely horrible, worst service ever and medical crisis that could have been avoided.
have been waiting on package since October. The package I am waiting on has medications that I should have already started but since this package has been in "customs clearance" since 7 Nov I have not had access and now I am in a medical emergency. When I originally reached out on the 15 Nov I was told it would be released early the following week as customs takes 5-8 business days. I followed up when the package wasn't released and was told "it needs more time in clearance"with no other explanation. Please tell me why protein Bars, beef jerky, smoothies, and medication mix in powder form need almost a month in customs. They know what's in the package because you have to attach an invoice.
At this point, it's as if my package is being held ransom because Ive been reaching out. This will be my first and last time utilizing this service. I'll pay extra just to have it delivered via some other company.
If you are having something important delivered (like something to save your life) do NOT use aeropost.
