The Anguilla ferry port is one of the gateways to this paradise island. It's a new, clean building where you'll receive your entry permit. We recommend going to customs early to avoid a slight wait. If you wish to take a taxi, a taxi company in the terminal will arrange it (prices are fixed).

Charged us at check in and demanded cash once we pulled off on boat. Without mentioning the fee at check in. This is terrible ! Once I asked why this wasn’t stated he stated that we had to read the sign. However, this does not support the disable. The ones that have visual impairment. The man was so demanding and argumentative .

We parked at the airport and walked to the terminal (no one told us it’s cheaper to park at the ferry parking $10). Upon arriving and walking in, none of the attendants greeted us or cared to serve. They were on their cellphones taking calls. Eventually she got us and told us the weather is bad traveling over (which was accurate) and that Anguillas weather was bad too (inaccurate). She gave us the option to cancel and get a refund. Several other customers came in and she convinced them not to go. We decided (after looking into the weather in Anguilla) that we will still go. We waited for over an hour, sat outside, it started raining so we came in, and eventually the customs officer came and assisted so we then traveled to Anguilla. No one at this terminal seemed to want customers. The captain and his assistant were awesome. We were very happy with their services. The ride was very choppy as expected. Anguilla was beautiful, full of sunshine and breeze!

I guess this is a convenient terminal location, but the drivers go full speed through the lagoon, which is legally limited to 5 knots to protect wildlife and damage to docked boats from the wake. Seems they just don't care.
